The largest private energy supplier in Romania
By doubling, from one year to another, its number of clients and the quantity of electricity supplied to final industrial consumers, Tinmar reached, in year 2009, 423 GWh, with a 96,7% increase compared to 2008, when the volume was of 215 GWh.
The increase pace was also maintained in year 2010, at the end of the year, the energy volume delivered to final consumers reaching 938,7 GWh, which represented an increase of 121,9% compared to the previous year. In year 2011, the quantity of electricity delivered to final consumers was of 1.403,9 GWh, meaning 6% of the competitive market, this share remaining constant also in 2012. Year 2013 was highlighted by the reach o an 8,41% share, Tinmar therefore becoming the third largest supplier in the country, and the largest supplier with complete private Romanian capital.
In 2014, Tinmar became market leader, with a quantity of electricity delivered to clients of 3,677 GWh, and, according to Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority, with a 12.57% share of the competitive market of energy consumers in the country. In year 2015, the portfolio has about 900 final clients, which own a total of over 7.000 consumption location, and an absorbed quantity of 3.303 GWh. The same year 2015 find Tinmar ahead of the country’s private supplier, with a share of 10,27%.

Through its subsidiaries – Tinmar Energiakereskedő Kft. And Tinmar Energy d.o.o., Tinmar obtained the licenses to supply electricity to final consumers in Hungary (2008) and Serbia (2009).
In 2015, Tinmar obtains, through its new subsidiaries – Tinmar Supply and Tinmar Enerji Ticaret Limited Sirketi, another two licenses, to supply electricity to final consumers in Bulgaria and Turkey, therefore becoming a regional electricity supplier.
